Problem Note 46248: Some steps are not correct for the "Enable Log On Button" example in the "SAS® 9.2 Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide"

DetailsAboutRate It

In the section "Example: Enable the Log On Button on Time-out Pages" ("Chapter 6: Administering the SAS Web Infrastructure Platform") in the SAS® 9.2 Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide, steps 7-11 are incorrect and no longer applicable.

Policies no longer exist for each individual SAS application. Therefore, you should ignore steps 7-11.

Properties that are related to policies (for example, Allow user login from web timeout page) are inherited policies. By default, all SAS applications inherit their settings from the SAS Application Infrastructure. You should enable the logon button on time-out pages through the policies for the SAS Application Infrastructure.
